I served as a County Commissioner in Douglas County for 33 years, Vice President of the National Forest Counties and Schools Coalition for 8 years, a member of the Congressional County Payments Committee for 4 years, and as President of the Association of O&C Counties for 25 years. RUNNING ON A RECORD OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Our County's impressive financial strength: increased capital projects and increased rainy day reserves: a County admired across the state for its financial stability!
• Created fire and smoke policies on a local, state and federal level that protect our health and economy and stopped the county’s smoke-filled summers we used to endure.
• Worked with Congressman Bentz and NACo to delist the Gray Wolf and Reform the Endangered Species Act-both resolutions were unanimously adopted (2026) at the National Association of Counties.
• Created a 2nd Amendment county ordinance for our Constitutional Rights
• Awarded the 2025 Pro-Life Champion of the Year for outstanding devotion to the cause of Jackson County Right to Life
• Pushed for board meetings to be archived and audio available for those who cannot attend. I believe government should be transparent and available to all.

I’m running on a proven record, grounded in integrity shaped by my faith and a steadfast belief in our community, and I stand firm for the freedoms that my father fought for so many years ago. Transparency and an unwavering commitment to the people of Jackson County continue to guide me as I seek reelection.
